My Story
My story starts in 2009. My husband brought a Scentsy catalog home from work one day all excited because he loves candles and I didn't like burning them because I was so bad at remembering if I blew them out or not. He even encouraged me to sell it. I thought they were pretty but with having just moved it wasn't in our budget. Fast forward a couple years and I get invited to a party by a friend I haven't seen since high school. Her consultant was full of energy and a lot of fun and I really liked the product. I bought my first warmer (Roma) and a few scents (Satin Sheets was one of them) and my addiction began!
A few months later I got invited to an open house just in time for the holidays by Alissa, the consultant I had met months earlier at my friend's party. I went to the open house and bought a few bars. Everyone that bought something that day was entered to win a basket of goodies and I won!!! She saw how excited I was and asked me if I had ever thought about being a consultant. I had but I still had tons of questions and some apprehensions. She was the best! So enthusiastic and patient with my million questions and going back and forth. I took the plunge and joined the Scentsy family in February 2012 and have enjoyed every minute of it since!
I love being a Scentsy consultant and part of the "family". I have Scentsy Sisters and Brothers that support, encourage, and guide me. Scentsy has helped me provide sports equipment for my son, cute clothes for my daughter, Christmas presents and gain some really great friendships. I've met the owners of the company twice and they are such loving, caring, down to earth people. They truly care about you and your success. I love sharing such a great product that contributes to some great causes. So much has been donated for breast cancer, autism, Alzheimer's and many more. Who wouldn't love to be a part of this???
